A college friend of mine, Dana, wanted something special for her sister Tara's baby shower. She had just found out that Tara was having a baby boy, so the invitations should be blue. She advised me that Tara isn't into cartoons, logos or other graphics that are common in baby stationary. I was able to find a happy medium in these invitations...an interesting graphic that's blue, without looking like any other baby shower invitation out there.
